Touchable Earth Lets Kids Teach Kids About The World | Edudemic

Touchable Earth Lets Kids Teach Kids About The World | Edudemic:

"Can you remember what life looked like to you when you were a kid? Think about it for a minute. Its a tougher question than you think, isn’t it? Things seemed different then, and only some of that is because things actually were different. Perception of time (check out Dave Eagleman’s work on time perception if you’ve got some time to kill – totally fascinating) and differences in level of knowledge also play a role in how kids understand their world – both their small world and the world at large.

So with that in mind, what better way to help younger students to understand their (larger) world than to have other kids who are living it teach about it? That’s the idea that Touchable Earth is employing for their project."
