Timing

When is the best time to post to your social network.  There have been studies done and you can run one on your own by trying different times and seeing the responses.  You will very quickly see a pattern as your followers grow.  But it is a catch 22 because if you do not post at a good time then on some social media your numbers will not grow.

Here is an older article that talks about the lifespan of posts vs a twitter entry…  It has not changed a lot…a facebook post’s average lifespan is 22 hours and 51 minutes and a tweet is less than an hour…
So what does this type of information tell us?
What about the people on the other side of the world who are on a totally different time zone or even day…how does that mess with my post timing?

A similar tools is called hootsuite  Http://hootsuite.com
Both are very good at doing similar things…the one that I use is bufferapp.
